Fulcrum’s Drawing Upload feature adds Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to Smart Upload to extract information from PDF drawings (such as Titles and Revision Numbers) and store this as metadata. An Administrator can setup an OCR template to match the drawing layout to extract information such as the Project, drawing number, revision and other details and store these as metadata against the drawing in Fulcrum.
