Fulcrum Release V 2.18
With this release we’ve introduced features that improve your experience of using and viewing BIM models on Fulcrum as well as features that make it easier to search for documents and simplify the user experience.
LeapThought BIM Viewer for IFC Files
You can now use our in-house state-of-the-art BIM Viewer for IFC files. The viewer's friendly user interface allows users to build their own queries on elements/properties by using plain English, save the queries and export the queries. The extensive capability of the viewer also allows users to create schedules on BIM data based on elements/properties, create and save searches, measurements and views. Users can also generate different types of setbacks.
Documents in Fulcrum are codified with unique filenames set up according to certain conventions. When necessary, you can override the document ID of a document and create a new filename or assign an existing filename to it.
Version History now called "History" on the Mailed Documents Register
The version history column which showed the system version of a document in the mailed documents register has now been replaced with the "History" column. Clicking on the history icon against a document in the register lists all the previous versions or revisions of a document.
View Related Mail for a document
You can view all the mails that a document or its previous versions participated in, with the help of the "Related Mail" link on the mailed documents register.
Search for Documents and Mails
We've made some improvements to the Advanced Search page and have made the interface simpler to make it easier for you to search for the documents and files that you need.
Review Sheet Capability Extended
The option to collaborate on documents with the help of documents has now been extended to all types of mails, where previously, it was only available to mails with the Response Required "Review."
Improvement to Smart Upload
The technology behind Smart Upload has been refined to improve the efficiency when large batches of files are uploaded to Fulcrum at one go.
Fix for when Notify All is enabled
We've fixed an issue where the e-mail notification sent to some users had a link to a workspace they do not have access to.
Fix for using Distribution Lists
We've fixed an issue where, when using a distribution list and replying to a mail, users saw a message that said "multiple entries matched." Users will now be able to use and reply to users in a distribution list without any errors.
Project Switcher UI
Minor UI change to the Project Switcher where we have introduced a new icon.
