What do I do when a submission is declined?

  • • At any stage, the recipients of the submission can Decline the submission and ask for changes before it is accepted.

    • When artefacts associated with a submission are declined, the status is reflected in the Chronology, and the button to re-send it to the stage where it was declined becomes active again.

    • Once the changes are made, you can click on the button again to move it to the next stage and send it for Acceptance, and the workflow continues as usual.

    • You can make all the updates necessary on the same document that was part of the submission and update the version of the document. When a newer version of the document is accepted to the Publish stage, then the previous published version(s) of the document will be moved to the Archived stage.
